Hi, everyone!

I arrived here at UConn.

This is very quiet and nice place.

I don't have my home phone number yet.

But my home address is as follows:

Mansfield Apartment #95

1 South Eagleville Road

Storrs, CT 06268

U.S.A.

My office is located at a new nice building.

My office phone number is

+1 860 486 3349.

I'm the only user of the office.

Prof. Bahram Javidi is very kind and very active.

He knows well that we are doing well.

Actually, while I was discussing with him, I found that he has some similar ideas of mine or ours.

So, I have to share with him some ideas of mine.

I'll talk about it to 3D people of our lab.

So, anyway, I decided to write a paper for LEOS Annual Meeitng.

Prof. Javidi is now focusing on 3D imaging.

If we do not hurry, he will publish papers what we are now also doing research on.

For example, his paper will appear again in Optics Ltters soon on the combination of photorefractive effect and integral photography.

He is doing a work similar to Jae-Hyung's 3D recognition program (software) development for IP.

Anyway, he is very active and our group and his group need to try to get some help from each other.

He has only two graduate students. But, he has (or will have) many visiting scholars from Japan, Korea and Europe. Dr. Matoba will be here again. Prof. Ju-Seok Jang will join him from August for one year. Prof. Ki-Soo Lim will visit here for a couple of weeks. Now, Prof. Seung-Ho Shin is staying with him for two years. So, his research is done mostly by visiting scholars. That could be a good way if the university does not have many brilliant students and if the professor has enough fund to support foreign visitors.
