Postdoctoral Fellow and Research Professor positions are available
immediately in the field of biophotonics, nano technologies, and in vivo
biomedical microscopy. Applicants must have strong publication records and
excellent technical skills in photonics, nano sciences, and their
applications. Applicants must have a PhD degree in physics, chemistry,
biological sciences, bioengineering, electrical engineering, or other
relevant disciplines. Good organizational and communication (in English;
Korean optional) skills are desirable. Competitive salary and benefits will
be provided.
Positions will be supported by the World Class University (WCU) Nano-Bio-
Medical Program funded by the Korean Government. Positions will be based in
the department of Nanosciences and technology at KAIST in Daejon, s. Korea.
However, depending on the applicant’s interest and the nature projects the
successful applicant will take on, joint affiliation with Harvard Medical
School can be considered; in this case, a substantial amount of travel to
Boston, USA, may be required.
