I am contacting you because you could help in the following topic.

My Group has received funding to cover a Ph D fellowship.

I personally can select the best candidate, but the paperwork is run by our Government. So I have no 100% control on the general conditions and dates.

The general conditions and dates of the fellowship are

1.- The candidate must have finished the Bachelor Degree after January 1st 2008.

2.- The fellowship covers a monthly salary of 1200 Euro + Medical Insurance + 1600 Euro for travel and firsts-moths accommodation expenses.

3. The duration of the fellowship is of 3 years.

4. Application should be done ASAP, but the result of the application will be known by February. Then the selected candidate will have two-three months to arrange the VISA, an then the 3-years fellowship will start by May-June 2010.

If you know any bright student, who could be interested in this application please, encourage him/her to contact me immediately.

I think this could be very good for the interaction between our groups.
