제 목 NEW CHALLNGES IN FULL-FIELD OPTICAL METROLOGY

Abstract

The lecture presents recent works performed at the Institute of Micromechanics and Photonics, Warsaw University of Technology in the field of optical metrology. The systems based on coherent methods (laser and low coherence interferometry, digital holography, grating (moire) interferometry, interferometric tomography) and noncoherent methods (structured light projection and digital image correlation methods) applied to static and dynamic objects studies are presented.

Opto-numerical methodologies for novel materials, microoptics and MEMS/MOEMS testing are described including active measurement systems and photonics platforms for parallel measurements of M(O)EMS arrays at a wafer. Latter different approaches to full-field optical displacement/strain measurements are discussed at the examples of measurements and monitoring of canvas paintings and big civil engineering structures. Next the multimodal approach for 3D/4D objects measurement with the aim of capturing data for computer graphics models and cultural objects archiving is reported.

Finally the recent trends and future directions of optical metrology methodologies and systems are discussed.

Biography

Malgorzata Kujawinska PhD DSc., SPIE Fellow, Full Professor of applied optics at Warsaw University of Technology, head of Photonics Engineering Division at Institute of Micromechanics and Photonics. Expert in full-field optical metrology, image processing, automatic data analysis and design of novel photonics systems. She has been involved in the optical metrology topics since 1980 including: development of interferometric, holographic, grating and structured light based methods. Author of one monograph, several book chapters and more than 200 papers in international scientific journals. Leader of several national and European projects.

Co-coordinator of European Network of Excellence in Microoptics. M. Kujawinska is the Vice-President of European Technology Platform Photonics21. She had been also the President of SPIE -the International Society of Optical Engineering (2005) and vice-President of International Commission for Optics (2003-2008).
